Fun-loving screen legend Marlon Brando left a lasting impression on actress Penelope Ann Miller by throwing rolled up pieces of bread at her across a restaurant. Brando, who died in 2004, worked with Miller on the 1990 movie The Freshman.
And Miller's abiding memory of filming is when she went out to dinner with co-stars Matthew Broderick and Bruno Kirby.
She says, "We felt these little things hitting us and falling on the table. We looked down and there were these little rolled-up balls of bread. He was taking the bread from the table he was eating at, rolling them up and throwing them at us."
