Grey's Anatomy star Sara Ramirez has formed an odd alliance with Monty Python star Eric Idle and his Spamalot co-creator as she embarks on a pop career. Idle and John Du Prez are penning tracks for the actress' first album.

Ramirez plans on spending her summer break recording the album in a Los Angeles studio.
