Former Will & Grace star Eric McCormack bemused his wife Janet recently when he arranged a reunion with his first love. The Canadian actor, 43, recently met his childhood sweetheart, her husband, and baby after spending ages convincing his wife the meeting was innocent.

McCormack says, "I haven't seen her in 10 years, but she lives in Aberdeen (Scotland). It seemed utterly insane to my wife that I would go and have breakfast with this girl I haven't seen in years. She just didn't understand it.

"But I think it's very civilized. As I said to my wife, I'm not going to dinner in a sexy spot. I'm going to see her with her husband and her baby in the morning. It's completely platonic. But I think women think, 'That women had sex with my husband once...'"
