Rachael RayRachael Ray certainly seems like the easy, breezy girl next door. But before audience members head over to her show, they ought to think twice about how they dress, according to Star magazine. To Rachael, it seems, certain items of clothing are not exactly, well, yum-o. The foodie, 38, sends out strict guidelines to potential audience members about what they can and cannot wear to her hit daytime talk show.

Besides prints, sweats and tank tops, the banned items include capri pants and ripped jeans. Also on her hit list: sequins, velor pantsuits and T-shirts, just to name a few.

No worries. Rachael is quick to make suggestions for those stumped about what to wear: deep blues, reds and greens are on her menu. But if those colors aren't your taste, you'd better skip the show altogether, since the producers reserve the right to turn you away if you're not dressed the way Rachael requested!

But there appears to be a little bit of hypocrisy going on here. Fussy Rachael has appeared on her show wearing many of the clothing items she's outlawed! It seems that she favors everything from busy patterns to white to sleeveless tops -- sometimes all at once! And she loves to chill, dressed down and casual, in her favorite sweatshirt.

The popular TV chef doesn't just ban certain items of clothing. Other no-nos include gum chewing (she promises to provide a snack of the day to her hungry audience) and repeat attendance at tapings.

For a sassy star who's earned a reputation for her down-home cuisine and down-to-earth chat, how good is that?
