Bruce Lee Biopic Is Headed For The Small Screen

Bruce LeeA 40-part series based on the life of Kung-Fu icon Bruce Lee is set to hit the small screen. The Legend Of Bruce Lee, which has a budget of $6.4 million, started production in the southern province of Guangdong over the weekend.

The actor, who made 46 kung-fu movies, died at the age of 32 while starring and directing Game Of Death in Hong Kong in 1973.

Chan Kwok-Kwan, who plays Lee in the TV series, said he had mixed feelings about playing the role of an icon. He says, "I'm nervous and also excited, but I will do my best."
