Rocker Roger Daltrey stopped a performance mid-set to allow recovered cancer patient Daniel Jones propose to his girlfriend in front of 5,500 fans last Saturday. The legendary The Who musician and patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust was performing a gig at London's Royal Albert Hall for the charity when the 21-year-old fan popped the question to stunned girlfriend Beth Williams live on stage.

Jones, who beat bone cancer in 2003, attended the trust's Manchester unit, thanked Daltrey for supporting him.

Two years ago, Daltrey performed two concerts and raised $1.95 million for the cancer charity.
