R&B singer Rell
has been charged with drug trafficking, after being arrested in a drugs bust in South Carolina on Wednesday. The former Roc-A-Fella
Records star - real name Wilbur Gerrell Gaddis - was arrested along with two other men after authorities intercepted a package containing 50 pounds of marijuana.
All three men were charged with conspiracy to traffic marijuana and are currently being held in Orangeburg Calhoun Detention Center, where they are awaiting a bond hearing. Rell was the first R&B star to be signed to Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter's
Roc-A-Fella Records in the late nineties and is presently recording with Carter's former business partner Damon Dash's
label, the Damon Dash Music Group.
