Nelly Furtado Hosts Juno Awards And Wins Big

Nelly FurtadoNelly Furtado has swept the boards at the Juno Awards - Canada's version of the Grammys - taking home five prizes. The 28-year-old singer doubled up as host and winner at the ceremony in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Sunday - picking up the Best Single, Best Album and Fan's Choice awards, to add to the Best Artist and Pop Album of the Year awards presented to her at a gala dinner on Saturday.

After collecting the Fan's Choice award - voted by the Canadian public - Furtado said, "I'm just happy to be here and humbled."

Other multiple nominees weren't so lucky, rapper k-os won nothing, despite being nominated for five awards.

At the ceremony, rocker-turned-producer Bob Rock was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame for his work with a string of rock greats, including Metallica, Aerosmith and Motley Crue.

Pop Album of the Year: Loose, Nelly Furtado
Video of the Year: Bridge To Nowhere, Duplex
