HinderHinder, rock's biggest success of 2006, has announced they will headline the inaugural MadPackers.com "Door To Dorm" tour in support of the band's double platinum debut, Extreme Behavior (Universal Republic) featuring the monster hit "Lips of an Angel" and current charting single "Better Than Me." The Oklahoma City quintet has been touring aggressively since the 2005 release of the debut. They will be joined by opening bands Papa Roach and Puddle of Mudd on select dates of the five-week tour which will hit 17 colleges and 3 major music festivals between April 13th at University Pitts in Jonestown, PA and May 16 with the final stop at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA.

"We've been on the road for over 25 weeks and loving every minute of it. Lots of ladies, lots of bars, and lots of miles on the road! We look forward to checking out what America's colleges have to offer on the MadPackers "Door to Dorm" tour and we're stoked to headline with such great bands," said Hinder frontman Austin Winkler.

Comments MadPackers President, Brian Altomare: We are extremely honored and excited to have Hinder represent the MadPackers lifestyle brand through our inaugural "Door To Dorm" music tour. They truly represent how rock music should be played, just as MadPackers represents how college shipping should be executed."

On college campuses, the MadPackers.com "Door To Dorm" music tour will be an all-day campus event and interactive experience, giving students the opportunity to interact, socialize, relax and rock out to great music on campus.

MadPackers.com's "Door to Dorm" shipping service is geared to alleviate the stress, hassle and headaches often associated with making that big move to college, by picking up a students packed belongings and dropping them off inside their dorm room ahead of time. The company uses licensed, bonded carriers who provide all of the packing materials, and who will even pack for you, for an additional charge.

Hinder has become one of the few new breakout success stories of 2006, with Extreme Behavior jumping to #6 on the Billboard 200 in November and finishing the year as the 10th best selling album of 2006. The band's giant hit single "Lips Of An Angel" has reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, top 5 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks Chart and climbed the radio airplay charts to #1 at Mainstream Top 40 radio where it remained for 3 weeks. Digital sales of the single have surpassed the 1.5 million mark. The band toured non-stop headlining shows and opened for Godsmack, and Nickelback, as well as select dates for rock legends Aerosmith. Additionally, Hinder picked up a nomination for Best New Touring Artist from Pollstar's Concert Industry Awards. The group's current single "Better Than Me" is already beginning to take after it's predecessor's footsteps.

Hinder is led by frontman Austin Winkler, Cody Hanson on drums, Mike Rodden on bass guitar, and Joe "Blower" Garvey and Mark King on guitar.
