The Children's Aid Society will present its first "Dreamspiration Award" to Susan Sarandon at its 15th annual Blue Jean Ball tonight at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers / 23rd Street and West Side Highway.

"This award acknowledges those extraordinary dreamers among us who inspire and thrill us and most importantly, are the finest role models for our children on the planet. Susan Sarandon is the personification of those ideals," said C. Warren Moses, CEO of Children's Aid.

One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the Blue Jean Ball will support The Children's Aid Society's programs for volunteers working directly with New York's youth as tutors, mentors, college coaches and more.
