Movie star Jared Leto has scored his first number one as a rock star - the Lord Of War actor's band 30 Seconds To Mars have hit number one on Billboard's Modern Rock radio chart with hit single From Yesterday.

The song's video, which was recently voted the Greatest EpicVideo on Yahoo! Music Australia's website, was the first American promo shot in the People's Republic of China.

Leto directed the video under the name Bartholomew Cubbins.
