Harry Potter co-star Rupert Grint is reportedly dating the ex-girlfriend of troubled Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty. Red-headed Grint, 18, who plays the wizard's best friend Ron Weasley in the successful film series, has been seeing Katie Lewis, 23, since the pair met at the recent NME awards in London.

A source tells British tabloid The Sunday Mirror, "He and Katie have been seeing each other for a few weeks and are both really keen. They share a love of music so as soon as they met they clicked. It's early days but they are very happy together."

Lewis, who suffered from a debilitating drug addiction for two years after dating Doherty back in 2002, was at the awards promoting her band Bonnie And Clyde when she met the young star.
