Broadway dancer Vilma Ebsen has died. She was 96. Ebsen passed away at Thousand Oaks Healthcare Center on March 12. She enjoyed a successful career as a dancer and starred in the film Broadway Melody Of 1936 with her brother Buddy, but found her true love in teaching at a performance school in Pacific Palisades, California, which she opened in 1943 with her sister Helga.

Ebsen is survived by her sons Robert and Michael, two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
