Oscars host Ellen DeGeneres' amazing year has received another big boost - her self-titled TV talk show has been nominated for 12 Daytime Emmys. The hit show is up for a Best Talk Show prize and DeGeneres herself is nominated as Best Host - an award she has won three years in a row.

Retired model Tyra Banks has also landed Best Talk Show Host and Best Talk Show nominations for her self-titled daytime program. Daytime soap Guiding Light leads this year's nominations, with 17 nods.

The winners will be announced in Hollywood on June 15.
