Elizabeth HurleyElizabeth Hurley has been threatened with legal action in India, by a man who claims her wedding to Arun Nayar was illegal. The model/actress wed businessman Nayar in Jodhpur on Friday, but local Vishnu Khandewal is claiming the traditional ceremony broke the law - because Hurley is not Hindu.

Khandewal, who has filed his lawsuit at a Jodhpur court, has cited a section of the Indian Penal Code, which addresses the "deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings". He says, "She has hurt the religious sentiments of the community by marrying in Hindu style, which is a criminal offense."

The case will be heard by a judge on March 21.
