Trent ReznorNine Inch Nails star Trent Reznor has scared himself with new lyrics about the end of the world. The 41-year-old rocker admits he found writing and recording the tracks for bleak new album "Year Zero" painless, but it was a different story when he realized his concept about a government ruled by the far right wasn't too far from the truth.

Reznor tells Rolling Stone magazine, "When I look at the cold heart of big business and our murdering government, I am truly afraid. I don't get the sense there is any humanity or compassion behind those suits as I watch their total disregard for human life and the ecology of this planet."
