Naomi Watts is set to star in an adaptation of Amy Sutherland's book "Kicked, Bitten And Scratched: Life And Lessons At The World's Premiere School For Exotic Animal Trainers." The book is based on the year the author spent with students on the Exotic Animal Training and Management Program at Moorpark College in California.
Students at the school learn how to communicate with animals such as camels, emus, baboons, cougars, wolves and snakes. Graduates of the program are hired by the world's top zoos, aquariums and sanctuaries and also frequently become trainers for film and television.
The film is being developed for the star - whose partner Liev Schreiber confirmed Watts was pregnant last month - as a romantic comedy.
