Reformed British girl group All Saints
have been dumped by their record label following poor sales of their comeback album Studio 1
. The Never Ever
) foursome signed to EMI's Parlophone label last year after a five year hiatus and released their single Rock Steady
When Studio 1
was released the same month, it entered the UK charts at a dismal number 40 - far below their last studio album Saints & Sinners
, which hit the top of the album charts in 2000.
A statement from Parlophone reads, "Both the label and the group are proud of the album Studio 1
. All Saints are excited about moving forwards with their career and Parlophone wishes them the best of luck."
