Former Playboy pin-up Belinda Carlisle has excited her legions of male fans by confessing she's enjoyed same-sex trysts.

The Leave A Light On hitmaker, frontwoman of all-girl group The Go-Go's, is too embarrassed to give details of her female encounters for fear her teenage son James will read them on the internet, but she admits she's experimented with her sexuality in the past.

She tells PlanetOut, "I've been there and I've done it all. Let's just put it that way.

"Without going into too much detail… I think all of us in the band, we've all had…. we've all been there and done that."

Carlisle is married to actor/producer Morgan Mason.
