Henry SimmonsHenry Simmons (NYPD Blue, Lackawanna Blues, Madea's Family Reunion), who has had a recurring role on Shark since he first guest-starred in the series' second episode, joins the cast in a regular role. Simmons plays Isaac Wright, who was first introduced in the Sept. 28, 2006 episode ("LAPD Blue") of "Shark."

In Simmons' debut episode, Sebastian (James Woods), ironically, won his case against a murderous drug dealer by revealing that Isaac (Simmons), an LAPD detective, had planted evidence on his dead partner in a desperate attempt to ensure that the drug dealer-killer would definitely pay the price for slaying him.

Isaac chose to resign from the force instead of facing a disciplinary hearing, and, at the end of the episode, was offered a job as a private investigator by Sebastian, which Isaac rejected. In the Nov. 16 episode ("Love Triangle"), Sebastian tracked down Isaac, now working as a body-guard, and persuaded him to take the investigator position. Since then, Isaac has become an important part of Sebastian's team and has started showing some signs of romantic interest in Raina Troy (Sophina Brown), one of the team's young lawyers.
