Gossip blogger Perez Hilton is being hauled into court by a Hollywood movie studio over claims her posted a stolen topless photograph of Jennifer Aniston on the internet. In a suit filed on Tuesday in US District Court, Universal City Studios Productions LLLP claimed the racy snap had been "misappropriated and illegally copied" during production or post-production of the 2006 romantic comedy The Break-Up and posted on website PerezHilton.com by Mario Lavandeira, a.k.a. Hilton.
The film firm are claiming copyright infringement and seeking an injunction barring further distribution of the picture and a court order authorizing the seizure of all Hilton's material from the film.
It's not the first time Aniston has been the center of a topless picture scandal - last September the actress and celebrity photographer Peter Brandt settled a lawsuit regarding semi-nude photos Brandt shot of her in late 2005.
