Rapper Foxy Brown has been arrested on suspicion of battery and violent obstruction following an alleged disturbance in a Florida beauty shop.

Brown, real name Inga Marchand, was arrested yesterday after the reported altercation in Pembroke Pines and held overnight.

In October, the 27-year-old was sentenced to three years probation for assaulting two manicurists at a New York nail salon in 2004. Brown was also ordered to submit to regular drug testing and attend anger management classes.

In December, she was summoned to court accused of flouting the conditions of her probation. The judge at that hearing warned Brown to comply with the ruling or face a year in jail.
