Billy Bob Thornton Has Good 'Sports Karma'
The Colts' success on the football gridiron came just months after Thornton cheered the best team in baseball, the St. Louis Cardinals, to World Series glory.
He says, "My sports karma this year is so good... I got to go to the World Series for the first time ever and got to see Chris Carpenter win Game Three in St. Louis. I went insane. Then, when we were coming down this way - I'm on a press tour for (new film) The Astronaut Farmer - and I had two days off; they both happened to be in Miami on Super Bowl weekend, so we got tickets. I didn't know the Colts were gonna be in there... When the Colts got in there, I almost had a seizure."
The actor wasn't the only Hollywood celebrity at the big game: Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Jenny McCarthy, John Travolta and William H. Macy were also cheering on the Colts and the Chicago Bears, while Oscar-winner Marlee Matlin translated the National Anthem into sign language for the hearing impaired.
