Hip-hop hitmaker Swizz Beatz has his drunken birthday celebrations to thank for his catchy new tune It's Me B-----s - he recorded it during celebrations in the studio.

The rapper/producer, who penned Ring The Alarm for Beyonce Knowles, admits he was struggling to find a single to release ahead of his new album One Man Band Man when a boozy night gave him a little extra inspiration.

He tells MTV News, "It was like around four or five in the morning... When I did it, I was just in my vibe. I was drinking a little bit, celebrating. I was just having fun, then I was like, `Turn on the mic.' I felt the vibe..."
