Malcolm In The Middle star Justin Berfield has teamed up with NASCAR race ace Richard Petty to produce a speedy new reality TV series.

The 20-year-old whizz-kid is developing a top secret new car show, where NASCAR fans get to realise their dreams as car racers, with his J2 Productions partners for America's CMT cable network.

Berfield says, "I can't give too much away but it's going to be a very exciting project."
