Expecting mother Tori Spelling hasn't registered for traditional baby gifts and will instead have a baby shower hosted by plastic container company Tupperware.

The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star and husband Dean McDermott are planning the party next week at a Los Angeles cafe.

A source tells E! Online, "It's a couples' shower, meaning it's not all girls. It's not a luncheon, but drinks and appetizers later in the day."

A friend of Spelling's explains, "Tupperware said they're big fans of Tori's, so they wanted to do this."

The star's estranged mother Candy is not expected to attend, but Loni Anderson, who played her mother on her short-lived TV series So NoTORous, has been invited.

Spelling is expecting a boy and is due in a few weeks.
