Campaigning rocker Bob Geldof is planning to create a TV channel dedicated to saving the world.

The Live Aid and Live 8 organizer wants to use his experience as a television producer to put together shows to promote world peace.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "It will be like a Fair-trade TV channel encouraging the West to help poorer nations, hopefully in an entertaining way."
