Former Roseanne star Sara Gilbert is pregnant with her second child.

The lesbian actress is keeping the identity of the sperm donor secret. Gilbert's partner, TV writer Allison Adler, carried the couple's first child Levi, who was born in 2004, and the actress decided it was her turn to experience pregnancy.

Gilbert, who played Darlene Conner in Roseanne, has yet to announce when the new baby will be born.
