The Fast & The Furious star Jordana Brewster has landed the coveted role of Mrs. Smith in the upcoming TV series adaptation of action film Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

The sexy star will take over where Angelina Jolie left off when the spy versus spy drama hits TV in America next year, according to new internet reports.

Website movieline.net reports the show's pilot, which will start shooting this spring, picks up after the end of the film, which starred Jolie and Brad Pitt as married undercover assassins.

There are no details yet about who would take on Pitt's Mr. Smith role opposite Brewster.
