Pamela Anderson Vehemently Opposes KFC Stamp
Pamela Anderson has written a furious letter to the U.S. Postmaster General slamming Kentucky Fried Chicken's campaign to have founder Colonel Harland Sanders honored on an American postage stamp. The actress, who's a staunch animal rights activist, objects to KFC's treatment of chickens and insists it would be unethical for Sanders to be granted the prestige of appearing on a postage stamp. In the angry letter to John E. Potter she writes, "Honoring a man whose legacy involves breaking animals' bones and scalding animals to death in de-feathering tanks is contrary to the values of most compassionate citizens, and I hope that you'll deny KFC's request. How about another Elvis (Presley) stamp instead?"
