Kevin Bacon Uses 'Six Degrees' To Raise Money for Charity
Kevin Bacon is stunned by the success of trivia game "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" and has found a way to use it to raise money for charity. The premise of the game is any film actor can be connected, through their film roles, to Bacon by six links. And starting today, the star will officially launch SixDegrees.org, an online network that gives visitors a chance to learn about and donate to celebrities' favorite charities.
He explains, "People pick up celebrity magazines to see how people dress, which handbags are hot, which cars to buy. Why not look at what (celebrities) care about?"
Nicole Kidman, Will Ferrell, Tyra Banks, Jessica Simpson and Kanye West are among the stars who have already agreed to be featured on the site.
