Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal slaughtered seven chickens while shooting new movie Babel. Director Alejandro Gonzalez says his countryman Bernal has the Mexican talent for slaying chickens swiftly and painlessly, likening the star's killing technique to that of restaurant chain Kentucky Fried Chicken.

He recalls, "We were rehearsing the way Gael would kill the chicken in the wedding scene - (and) actually he killed seven! We were just rehearsing how he could do it without harming the chicken, before changing it for a dummy. We Mexicans are not so dangerous. We kill chickens, but the same way KFC does. I don't know how they kill them, but they kill thousands and millions."
