Jeremy Piven has slammed stars who parade their partners in front of the press. The single 41-year-old doesn't approve of actors who show off their girlfriends or boyfriends in public, and instead enjoys having his mother on his arm at red carpet events - because she taught him how to behave.

Piven says, "Even if I had a girlfriend, I'd still take mom. She's cool and fun and she taught me how to act so it makes perfect sense that she's there. And there's something about parading a girlfriend around in front of the press that seems wrong. Some things have to be sacred."
