Matthew McConaughey knows how to woo a woman - a typical romantic night out for the movie star includes a trip to the cinema and a late-night barbecue. The star, now single after splitting from Spanish girlfriend Penelope Cruz last year, insists his romantic tricks never fail.

He says, "I'd go to the movies... Then we'd drive home and tell each other what we really dig about each other. I'd cook a little bit for my lady. I have three trailers so I'd take her back to one of them and barbecue. I love to barbecue. I'm trying to become a master barbecue chef. I'm mixing my own dry rubs now."
