Jennifer ConnellyJennifer Connelly fears she is overly critical of herself and is working hard to overcome her feelings of inadequacy. The star started modeling at age 10 and claims being judged at such an early age had a huge effect on her.

She explains, "Being watched and asked to perform all the time was difficult for someone with my perfectionist personality. I'm very hard on myself. I don't want to disappoint myself or other people. I need to have a high standard all the time; I can't mess up!"

The 36-year-old star admits that growing older and becoming a mother has helped her become more relaxed and accepting. She adds, "Now I can really see the patterns that live in me, the weird glitches in my wiring. I think I'm more comfortable now because I'm more in control of how my looks are presented."
