'Rocky,' 'Fargo' & 'Groundhog Day' Join National Film Registry

RockyRocky, Blazing Saddles, Fargo, Groundhog Day and Halloween are among the 25 films that were just added to the National Film Registry. The registry is part of the nonprofit National Film Preservation Foundation, a public-private partnership to benefit the film preservation efforts of American film archives, historical societies and similar institutions. The National Film Registry list, which began in 1989, now numbers 450 works.
