Cameron Diaz is hoping for a Christmas haul of practical presents under the tree this year - but has told her family to take her name off their gift lists. The star insists she's already got everything she needs, but any presents she does receive have to be functional.

She says, "Most of us are way past the point of needing anything else in our lives materialistically. Anything I get, I hope it is useful and something I can have for a long time. I told my family not to get me anything."
