George Clooney Says "Ocean's Thirteen" Will Be The Last
Despite an all-star cast - including Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon - Ocean's Twelve failed to attract the same critical acclaim as the first film, a remake of the 1960 film Ocean's Eleven starring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
But Clooney insists the story needs to be finished. He says, "We didn't want to go out getting socked in the chin. There was a reason to do it, which is revenge. After that there's no reason to come back and do another one."
However, Clooney hasn't banished the idea of making another Ocean's film altogether.
He adds, "Who knows? Maybe 10 years from now I'll need a job and take it, but right now we don't plan on it."
