The Wizard of OzThe cowardly lion costume from 1939 film The Wizard Of Oz has sold at auction for a staggering $700,000. The outfit, made from real lion fur and worn by actor Bert Lahr in the classic movie, was part of a memorabilia sale on internet auction site eBay.

Also sold were Elvis Presley's wedding ring, for $90,000; trousers Oliver Hardy wore in the film Swiss Miss and Fred Astaire's sailor suit from Follow The Fleet.
