A Texas sorority girl regrets flaunting her fling with actor Vince Vaughn in Budapest, Hungary, after her emails detailing the encounter were published worldwide. Laura Mallory Lane spent a night with Vaughn on November 25 in his hotel suite and forwarded a steamy email to her sorority sisters at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, about the event.

Rumors that Vaughn and former girlfriend Jennifer Aniston had broken up had been swirling for months, but after news of his tryst in Budapest broke, representatives for the couple confirmed they had officially ended their relationship on December 5.

Lane tells Allentown, Pennsylvania newspaper The Morning Call she regrets her decision saying, "I stand by the belief that while I may have made an error in judgment, I did nothing to deliberately hurt anyone, and acted as many young women in my position would. I spent time with a person of celebrity status, and chose to share it with a few close friends.

"My biggest mistake was putting my personal life in an email that could be exaggerated, embellished and shared with others against my intentions. I was criticized and demeaned as a result of someone realizing they could profit from my humiliation."
