Tim McGraw has joined the all-star cast of Oscar winner Paul Haggis' new movie, in which he'll play a cop. The country star, who made his movie debut in football film Friday Night Lights, will play a police chief opposite Tommy Lee Jones, Charlize Theron, Susan Sarandon and James Franco in new movie In The Valley Of Elah.

In the film, Jones plays a war veteran looking for his son, who goes absent without leave after returning from active duty in Iraq.
