Celebrities Sign Vintage Peter Gabriel Keyboard for Charity

Peter GabrielPeter Gabriel is selling off a vintage keyboard signed by over 40 top musicians on online auction site eBay to raise funds for his human rights charity. The singer has recruited celebrity friends including Bono, Stevie Wonder, David Bowie, Elvis Costello and Annie Lennox to lend their autographs to the cause.

Bidding on the item, which ends December 11, has already reached $100,000. The keyboard, which was discontinued in the 1980s, is now a highly prized collector's item. Other celebrities who have signed one of the keys on the keyboard, include Mark Knopfler, Kate Bush, Thomas Dolby, Steve Winwood, Todd Rundgren and Brian Wilson.

The auction is being held in conjunction with the second annual benefit and concert for Gabriel's charity Witness next Monday in New York City.
