Newlyweds Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have laughed off reports they have bought an English country mansion together. Earlier this week, Us Weekly claimed the pair has paid $4.75 million on a six-bedroom house in West Sussex, south of London.

However, a spokesperson for the couple currently living in the house, says "they have no intention of selling." A representative for the star adds, "I'm not aware of any purchase."

Cruise and Holmes spend most of the time in their Beverly Hills, California, mansion, where they live with their baby daughter Suri and the actor's two adopted children Isabella and Connor.
