Rapper Snoop Dogg
has been branded a police informer by his former record label boss Marion 'Suge' Knight
. The hip-hop star, who was arrested for the third time in as many months on Tuesday after police found weapons and narcotics in his vehicle, has so far escaped a jail sentence, despite charges of violent affray and possession of a deadly weapon being leveled at him in the past - as well as a civil rape case.
In the latest edition of Rolling Stone
magazine, Snoop Dogg, who played a police informer in 2004 movie Starsky & Hutch
, also confesses he's considered killing Death Row Records founder Knight. But the music mogul fears the admission, as well as his recent arrest, will go unpunished by police.
He tells PageSix.com, "Snoop is a rat. He's a police informer. This is the only guy who never goes to jail no matter what. I don't like rats. Snoop has never been in a real fight. When there's trouble, he runs to the police. He throws up and starts crying."
Knight's feud with Snoop Dogg began when the rapper, real name Calvin Broadus, left his label for Master P's
No Limit Records in 1996.
