When a woman is found dead in Central Park, and medical examiner Warner (Tamara Tunie) can find no apparent reason for her death, Stabler (Meloni) begins a solo investigation, which leads him to the victim's husband, Wesley (Sarandon), who owns an established dance troupe. The case takes a turn as Wesley's good friends Glenn (Saget) and Naomi Cheales (Bell) come under suspicion. Stabler's investigation unravels a case of drugs, infidelity and an elaborate plot that impacts everyone involved in the troupe.
Stabler also discovers Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay
) is back in town, so he pays her a visit. Attorney Stella Danquiss, who defends Glenn, is played by (guest star Peters).
