Pop singer Christina Aguilera is finding married life with Jordan Bratman tough even though they've only been married 12 months. The singer, who wed Bratman last November, has revealed their relationship is far from perfect.

She says, "I think it is hard. You are surprised and disappointed by certain things in your first year. I think the biggest misconception is that everything is going to be perfect and nothing will go wrong."

However, the diminutive pop star won't be following her rival Britney Spears by divorcing her husband, insisting, "We have a strong bond. I'm prepared to grow old with this man. We look forward to the ups and downs."
