Jackass star Steve-O is launching a new career - as a rapper. The prankster, whose stunts have included stapling his testicles to his leg and having a life-size tattoo of his own face etched on his back, claims he has been in discussions with Universal Records and is planning an album.

The star - real name Stephen Glover - made the announcement at a performance by Metal Skool in Hollywood, after he was called onstage by singer Michael Starr. Steve-O then gave the audience a sample of his rapping before dropping his trousers to flash his backside at the cheering crowd.
