Sharon StoneSharon Stone left a children's AIDS charity reeling after throwing a tantrum over a Barbie doll. The Basic Instinct actress agreed to be honored at a benefit in Santa Monica on Saturday night for the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation. At the event Stone had initially agreed for a number of Barbie dolls made in her image to be auctioned off.

According to the New York Post newspaper, the 48-year-old blond actress "flipped out" when she saw the Barbie toy manufacturers Mattel had made, raging that it looked nothing like her. Stone refused to attend the benefit, and instead went to the star-studded Carousel of Hope ball.

Stone's representative, Cindi Berger, said, "That is absolutely correct. The doll didn't look anything like her. She was never committed to going."
