Jeri Ryan is "scoping out" venues in France's Loire's valley for an intimate June 2007 wedding to fiancé Christopher Eme. The German-born actress has fallen in love with the French countryside and has set her sights on staging her nuptials there next summer.

She tells TV Guide magazine, "It (ceremony) isn't as small as I thought it would be. We don't want a big American thing. We wanted it to be 60 people tops, but it will be smallish at 80 (people). It will be very French... The area is exquisite."

The menu is sure to be mouthwatering at the wedding - Ryan and her chef fiancee co-own Hollywood restaurant Ortolan.

Ryan's first marriage to politician Jack Ryan ended in controversy when she was caught up in a sex scandal after details of their divorce proceedings hit the headlines. Her ex-husband was forced to drop out of the race for Illinois Senator.
