Superstar Michael Jackson
will be honored at the World Music Awards next month for his contribution to music. The reclusive singer, 48, who has been living in Ireland in recent weeks, will accept the Diamond Award, given to artists for selling more than 100 million albums, at the London ceremony on November 15.
Singer/actress Lindsay Lohan
will host the event, which will also see R&B star Mary J. Blige
pick up a Legend Award for her outstanding contribution to the urban genre.
Blige, Beyonce Knowles
and Katie Melua
will be among the performers at the star-studded event.
